Have just looked at the outline for the coming semster's work and am already feeling daunted about the workload and the assignments - have greatly enjoyed my holidays, am a little sad school is starting again and drudgery of routine has begun again. Yes - I am feeling a little flat....
Have enjoyed doing the Summer reading club organised by ALIA with my newly literate 6 year old. It was a fantastic way to encourage her to continue reading and consolidate on what she'd done in Kindergarten - and her reading has come along in leaps and bounds over the last few weeks.
Think i should do some reading of something (other than fiction) .... to try and get some mental fitness going.

This blog was created as part of my studies - MTeach (teacher librarian) -hopefully here you may find some musings on education, libraries, life and studying along with generally witty and insightful comments (if i can manage any!).
Please add comments along the way. I'll be glad for any input, especially from fellow students and library lovers
